This weekend has been really hectic seeing as taxes came, and we bought a new to us car amongst other things for the kids.
Well along with all the excitement, something even more Exciting happened today. Our Youngest Simple learned to Roll Over both ways! She is 4 days shy of 6 months and she has learned so much this month.
Here is a list of Things she has learned:
1. Sit up
2. Lay down from the sitting position
3. Recognizes the "Milk" sign in Sign Language.
4. Started eating Babyfood (homemade) with a spoon.
5. Now Rolls over
I cant express how Proud I am of her. Our little Love has started showing her personality and We are so blessed to have Our Simple Little Olive.

Our Practice run at Homeschooling!
So when I got up this morning, I had No intentions of keeping the 2 Oldest Simples home from school. Although the weather had other plans. It was beyond Icy outside and there was No way I would be able to walk them to school. Usually it isn't this bad out and I can maneuver the stroller very well, but today it was just not happening. So at home they stayed, and they got to work on some pages from the "Brighter Child Everything for Early learning Grade 1" workbook. It teaches Reading, Math, Sizes, Shapes, Numbers, Letters, and even Sounds. Buddy is in 1st grade currently so he did very well, but I was surprised how much our Simple Pumpkin knew. She's 5 and in Kindergarten so she is still learning, but she is like a little sponge. They worked on Nouns, Consonants, Sentences, Matching pictures to sentences, and Adding. They also did some coloring and were so excited to do schoolwork at home. I took today's experience to re-evaluate my consideration to Homeschooling. I was debating if I should wait a few more years or just take the plunge this upcoming school year. I might try this again over the weekend and talk over My Final decision with Simple Steve. I will post my decision when I make it and start planning what Curriculum we will be using for them.

Meet The Simples
Hi, I'm Simple Chrissy and I'm 23 years old. I am the Mother of 4 amazing Simple little Children and The Fiancé to Simple Steve. One of My littles was Adopted and is living a new life with Amazing Parents who couldn't have any children. They have since then Adopted a little girl who has made them as happy as My Little Munchkin. This blog will show how Our Little family strives to live a simpler life, while still having what we need to survive in this world. We will do what it takes to teach our kids how to believe in themselves and to never give up when they face a challenge. How you can accomplish anything you set your mind to without needing what "everyone" else has. Many things will change this year for Our family and Hoping Our Journey will help another Family Live a Simpler Life!
